To put it in a nutshell,

Quote:
The United Nations Human Rights Council today passed a resolution aimed at restricting criticism of religion, or ‘religious defamation’.

Quote:
The answer, sadly, is that the majority of member states of the Human Rights Council are united in a single purpose: not the promotion and protection of human rights, but the prevention of the exposure of their own human rights abuses.

This is an unforgivable thing that they have passed. Utterly unforgivable. I'm just at a loss of words about this.

I didn't know about your source so I decided to try and find one legitimate site that would argue this resolution is a good thing. Unfortunately I can't find one legitimate press that indicates this is anything but bad for a variety of reasons.

Its weird that people are bowing before Islam so much. Why are all these nations so afraid? Anyway, I know a lot of people-- most-- use the crusades as an example of Christian corruption, but I have to be honest-- I wish the Christians had succeeded in the crusades more effectively.

Thats kind of fucked up. I do admit it isn't a good religion however. Still, there are lots of good muslim people out there, just not the ones in the middle east.

In fact, over here in America I often feel like the Muslims and such, are nicer than the christians, then again they all think I am going to hell so it doesn't really matter anywayz. 8) Might as well put on my sunglasses.....

Looks like they're still at it: http://www1.voanews.com/policy/editoria ... 84719.html

At least Hillary Clinton is actually standing up for freedom. It surprised me a little.
