It should. The hypocrisy of the far religious is sickening. His devout followers that believed in the cause will be shaken by the fact that their leader was a hypocrite.

Well I think it really well affect a lot. What's more interesting to know is how will his followers react with this. Seeing their behavior would definitely end up with a satisfying theoretical research about how to deal with these people.
