I would like to upgrade the phpBB forum software from version 2 to version 3: This will add a LOT of options to the forum and make it easier to use (especially for the administrative areas like merging topics and such). It also operates faster.

I need to talk with Segep about the upgrade. First I'll be copying the database to a separate location and converting it over to the new software platform.

Then I'll be re-working the theme. Yes, the main themes are going to change a little bit. I'll still try to make sure I have at least a couple artsy themes, similar to what I have here now, but I want some really plain ones for both phone modem users and also for people who believe that extra graphical elements clutter a forum.

I'm hoping this change will be completed by the end of the year.

Just wanted to let you know what is in the works, and I wanted opinions on new themes. If there are any sites that have a theme that you really really like, I can try to make something with a similar feel. Please let me know
