When I paste a youtube address in between the youtube tags, it doesn't show up. Is this some setting on my end?

make sure the url only has the 'watch' portion and stops at the first ampersand '&' and contains no other variables. For instance, the roller coaster video above originally had the url:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rM-k3DjKnY&feature=fvhl

So I removed this part:

&feature=fvhl

Hope this helps :)

*Test

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5p0QtJMKt1s

In the tags is the following: "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5p0QtJMKt1s". It is only the actual address to the video.

you using firefox? noscript?

Did you or some web page tighten up script security?

I see both videos up above.

Also, are you at home? work? possibly a firewall blocking youtube?

At work I can't ever see embedded youtubes because the firewall specifically blocks any incoming traffic from youtube.com.

I also can't visit secondlife.com or xstreetsl.com (though I can still log onto sl)

I am using Firefox and noscript, but the little "S" in the bottom corner is white, with no Ghostbusters sign through. Plus, I've had it for years and it's never been a problem. Only thing I can think of with that is some update of noscript that also changed my settings, which doesn't sound like them. I just don't know, it's weird.

That IS weird.

What does it do when you view the page with Internet Explorer. If it does the same thing, then we know the issue is not browser-specific.
