This is the single worst news of 2009. In the entire world.

Ya, when I first heard about this, I threw up in my mouth. And it was still a better sensation than knowing Marvel was now in the hands of Disney.

Although we're sure to see some abortions come from this, (Hanna Montana meets Wolverine and The Incredible Hulk: The Story of a Forbidden Love) Disney owns many companies that put out a lot of non-Disneyish work. Dimension Films, home of Scream, and other horror movies, for example. Or ABC, which puts out Desperate Housewives and LOST, also without a trace of Disney flavor.

Marvel has some money printing properties, and Disney probably won't mess with that formula too much. Plus, imagine a Kingdom Hearts game with Kefka and Magneto. That's just cool.

I nearly spit water all over the screen with that one. "Hanna Montana meets Wolverine and The Incredible Hulk: The Story of a Forbidden Love"
